Shan shrugged. "I am hungry... but I don't know about sleeping here. If we get caught then we're dead... Uhm, dead meat... Wow, that expression is weird around you now..."

She gave off a nervous laugh. She was tired, she was hungry and in truth she wanted to go home. But home was across an ocean. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, taking all the scents in.

Sam smiled and hugged her tighter. "Fair enough..How about we go and grab a quick meal somewhere...and then find someplace to sleep tonight..." He said to her and then stood and pulled her up with him. He smirked lightly and lead her back to the fire escape, and then kisses her before starting back down the steps

Shan giggled after he kissed her. She smiled and raced him down the ire escape. She focused on each step. As tired as she was getting, she still enjoyed a decent race. She reached the bottom in no time and grinned up, waiting for him to reach her. She leaned against the wall opposite the fore escape.

Shan somehow magically passed Sam as he climbed down the fire escape so he ended up getting down after her. He smiled at her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he lead her out of the ally and to the nearest fast food place.

Shan grinned, feeling like such a tourist. "Oh my gods, Sam. We're claimed, we're in the city. We're going into my favourite fast food place," she said as they walked inside the restaurant. The smell of grease and salt was prominent and the annoyingly vibrant walls could hurt one's eyes if the slightly dim lights lit the place up just a little more.

Shan's arm snaked around his middle and she brought herself closer to him. "Chicken burger and mayo," she told him as they got into line.
