Milly smiled and sighed in relief. Even though she hadn't officially lived in the Hermes cabin for even a week, the girl seemed happy enough to be out of that cabin. It wasn’t the fact that the cabin was filled with horrible people; there were just too many people. Milly didn’t do well in crowds so she had felt so uncomfortable in the Hermes cabin; it seemed like a relief to be finally moving out. The girl hadn’t really made friends in the cabin because most of them were younger and seemed more interested in messing about, stealing things from others and generally being hyped up little kids. Of course, no young adult would want that, especially not a shy young adult. The last few tops and a pair of jeans were the last possessions she had back away in a duffle back before slinging it over her shoulder and exiting the Hermes cabin; looking back at the cabin she wouldn’t miss.
It was only a short walk to the Artemis cabin but when she reached it, Milly had to stand outside the entrance and just admire the cabin itself. It was silver and seemed to glow brightly with a silver glow. It wasn’t as impressive as Zeus’ cabin or as plain as the Hermes cabin but this cabin would be home for the girl and the Artemis cabin was beautiful to her. Not the fact that it represented her mother, no, it was the fact that the glow of the cabin and how it seemed so welcoming to her. She suspected that nobody had tried to live in the empty cabin was because it looked intimidating from the front but Milly stopped admiring the view from the outside and stepped over the threshold. Her mouth gaped open at how big the room was. There were several bunks situated around the room and the beds were covered with silver duvets. The girl walked over to one and threw her duffle bag onto the bunk and was surprised that the duvet seemed to shimmer like stars; it was fascinating. Silver drapes hung from the ceiling and a mat in the middle of the floor had half a moon on it. It really did represent Artemis to a whole new level.
Just as the girl began to unpack, the door opened and a shadow appeared in the doorway. Immediately, Milly’s head perked up toward the door to find a blonde haired girl staring at her. The girl asked what she was doing in the cabin and Milly paused, her hands hovering over her duffle bag. Milly didn’t look at the girl and she didn’t plan to either. ”I could ask you the same question.” The girl said, standing her ground.
